Shasta Flower
Shasta was our first show rabbit. She was a black Dutch doe. She never did extremely well at shows but she never did terrible either. She was killed along with one of her kits when the neighbor's dog broke into their hutch.
Clover Blossom
Clover was a rescue rabbit that someone had dumped. She looked a bit like a Rhinelander but stockier. We re-homed her a few months after we rescued her.
Bree
Bree was our first Dutch buck. He was black and he was not showable. After a few failed breeding attempts we sold him as a pet.
Zanzibar Island
Zanzibar our first Dutch buck that I used for breeding and he threw good looking litters. He died when he was five years old.
Queen Jadis
Jadis was our replacement rabbit when Shasta was killed. She won Best of Breed twice at the Hendricks County Fair. In 2012 she developed a bruised back and could not walk for a month. we nursed her for several months but she never regained her full health and she died in December. She will be missed forever.
Nyra Owl
Nyra was one of Jadis' and Zanzibar's kits. She was not showable due to a spot in her eye. She gave us good kits however. We sold her to make room for showable rabbits.
Unbridled Spirit
Spirit was a grey doe that we bought and showed and then sold. Her name was Spirit for her wild personality.
Bluestar
Bluestar was our blue otter Netherland Dwarf doe. We showed her and bred her and then sold her because we decided to stick with Dutch.
Paul's Sport
Sport was our grey buck who has produced prize winning kits. We showed and bred him before selling him as a breeding pair with Spirit.
Oakheart
Oakheart was a black otter Netherland Dwarf buck. We showed and bred him before selling him to make room for more Dutch.
Starry Night
Star was a chocolate doe whom we showed and bred. She is Eowyn's mother. She was sold recently to someone who wanted a rabbit.
Hawkeye
Hawkeye was a black buck who we had for a very short amount of time. We showed him once and he did well. We sold him to someone who was looking for a Dutch.
Sammy
Sammy was a black Flemish Giant buck who we had for a very short period of time. He and his brother were sold when we ran out of room for them.
Hunter
Hunter was a steel grey Flemish Giant buck who was sold along with his brother Sammy.
Shasta II
Shasta II was a black Dutch doe. She did very well on the show table and we hated to see her go to a new home but we decided to focus on English Angoras.
Shane
Shane was sold along with his sister Shasta II.
Casper's Jinx
Casper was a broken blue English Angora. He sired two litters before we sold him to make room for new bloodlines.
